Good Morning Everyone!
First off, we want to thank you for being so supportive of CFNV and the CFNV Community. We have received so many messages of support and words of encouragement from all of you and although we aren’t gathering at our normal physical location we feel the togetherness of our community.
On Wednesday night we had our first staff meeting via video conference and came up with a plan to keep everyone engaged during these difficult times. In addition to the plan below, we all want you to know we are here for you on a personal level. All of your Coaches are committed to you and your well being. We are open to messaging, phone calls, video calls, emails, and any other form of communication with regards to Diet, Exercise, or just Human contact. We believe that staying connected and being in this together is the best way to approach things. We love you all and your families. Please lean on us.
We will be posting workouts everyday and using YouTube for our whiteboard talks. This is where we will lay out the day, go over movements, talk about scaling options, and the intended stimulus of the workout. This should feel just like it does each and every class at the gym. If you need more help than the video we are here to provide it. Whether it’s equipment related or related to that darn knee of yours that just doesn’t want to work properly we are here to help.
– Workouts will be up at 5:00 pm the night before
– Workouts will be on Youtube and SugarWOD
– Workouts will be shared via Instagram and our CFNV Members Forum
The CFNV Members Forum is going to be the busiest place and I would like to have your help ensuring that everyone is a part of the Forum. If you aren’t on FB it would be great if you could join. The Forum is a Private Group. You only need to add me as a friend and I will invite you to the group. Outside of that you don’t need to use the other aspects of Facebook. CFNVatHOME on Social Media
Our official hashtag for CFNVatHome will be #cfnvathome. Why is this important? It allows us to share our workouts and experiences with each other. To encourage each other and keep each other accountable. To establish some positive flows in our social media. Everything will be gathered in one place.
Please also tag CFNV on Facebook and Instagram and share your images/videos via email or messaging or any other way you like!! We will be highlighting your photos and videos on our social platforms as well. So much of who we are is our community and we want to share what all of you are doing to stay active and motivated through these trying times. We are stronger together, so let’s keep the positivity flowing!
This newsletter will be a weekly communication. We will send it out Fridays and use it as a weekly check in.
CFNVatHOME Open Competition
We are going to save this for next weeks newsletter but we are working on a plan to do an “Open” style competition within the gym for some prizes. The details will come out next week and we look forward to sharing.
