The move to the North Shore for Andrea and Sean coincided their discovery of CrossFit and they quickly embraced the challenging workouts. “We were moving to North Vancouver and I really wanted to establish some healthy habits from the start. I had always wanted to try CrossFit and thought it was now or never. I talked my husband into doing the foundations the first month we moved in and I was hooked.” That was in January 2014 and in the years that have followed Andrea has seen her fitness leap forward.
One of the heartbeats of the 6am class. Amazing dedication and work ethic has contributed to Andrea’s scores being one of those that people chase all day.

Have they changed? Absolutely! I love the competitive side of CrossFit. Now my goals are to get a muscle-up and be competitive in Rx’d competitions.
What changes have occurred in your health, fitness and general athletic performance since you started CrossFit? Overall I think CrossFit has helped me take a healthy approach to my life. I have adapted my nutrition, my energy has increased significantly and my body composition has changed a lot. CrossFit has given me the confidence to incorporated other sports into my life like trail running and mountain biking. Lastly, I could not do a push up or a pull up when I first started.
