Just some notes on programming. We are going to be programming like we used to moving forward. A 3 tiered program that be broad, general, and inclusive for everyone. Whether you are new to the gym or you have been around for a while you will be able to challenge yourself in this framework. What exactly do I mean?
One of CrossFit’s mantras is to work on Mechanics, then Consistency, and lastly sprinkle in Intensity. One of the common negatives when someone starts CrossFit is they skip Mechanics/Consistency and go straight to Intensity. Our goal is to filter you through and empower you to make the right choice each day.
Mechanics aka RxM
This stream will be for newer people and also for people to use when the movements are challenging for them.
Consistency aka RxC
This stream is for the bulk of the members of our gym. Designed to make you stronger and fitter while training safely amongst your peers and starting to compete with yourself and some others.
Intensity aka RxI
This stream is for those who have good Mechanics and have performed these Mechanics with Consistency. The workouts will be difficult and often involve more complicated movements.
Each Day there may be 1, 2, or 3 streams posted. It’s up to you choose. You can always blend and you can always scale within a stream. These are here as a framework. I hope this doesn’t sound too complicated. We will transition you seamlessly over the next few weeks.
