Welcome to CFNV’s very own Barbell Club – The Pound Club.
The Pound Club will run Monday to Thursday at 6:30pm and is open to all members of CrossFit North Vancouver.
We will be taking a few steps back to the basics learning the Power Lifts (Deadlift, Squats, Presses) and Olympic Weightlifting Movements (Snatch, Clean & Jerk) in order to:
– Help you move to the best of your ability
– Get strong together
– Practice barbell cycling for your daily CrossFit WODs
– Most importantly… HAVE FUN!
A typical day at the Pound Club:
Game Warm-Up & Dynamic Stretching
A. Movement of the Day:
Build up to a heavy 2 rep front squat
Accessory of the day: Front rack lunges
E2MOM – 10 Lunges at 50% of 2 rep front squat
From the ground 5 unbroken front squats 135/95
C. Cool down and stretch

Michael and I have got over 10 years combined in the fitness industry as both athletes and coaches and have moved to Vancouver because apparently (when it’s not raining) the outdoor activities are pretty epic – oh, and the people are pretty great too! See you on May 1st!
