Cheryl and Andrew Sabarre “Cher and McLovin”
It started with a gift. Andrew had been doing Crossfit for about a year and was always talking about it with Cheryl then for Christmas he gave her a gift card for the Foundations Program. “And I really liked it!” What initially was going to be the way to get back into shape after their second child, Allie was born has become the means to get back into shape after Zachary, their third, came along.
For Andrew his goals since starting Crossfit have remained unchanged. “I’ve always been an active person, but I needed something that would push me beyond my comfort zone of bench press and bicep curls.” After training for over 3 years he has recognized there are “many more areas needing improvement. I need to squat more!” But despite continually seeking to be better, Andrew recognizes the changes since starting Crossfit. “I am without a doubt stronger than before, much more balanced. I feel I’m in the best shape of my life from a general standpoint. Jeans fit tighter.”
Cheryl has also seen many improvements in her fitness, “I would say I’m overall more balanced in my fitness because prior to Crossfit, I would never regularly strength train or do any sort of lifting. Crossfit has also helped my running endurance and speed.”
Coaches Comments
Extended Family. That’s the first thing I think of when you say Sabarre Family. I think they are all amazing and I truly appreciate them for who they are inside and outside the gym. You’re blessed if you know them and if you haven’t you need to introduce yourself. Also, Andrew is pretty much a Magician aka Physio who fixes everyone!
