Ashley and Dave Zibrik
The credit can go to Pamela Greene for first introduced Ashley and Dave to Crossfit North Vancouver. She got Ashley to try and soon afterwards their husbands; Dave and Lenny were attending classes. That was 16 months ago, since then Dave and Ashley became regulars in the evening Boot Camp classes and have recently started to come in to the regular Crossfit classes as well.
What began as a desire for both of them to improve their overall conditioning has grown into a real love of the Crossfit approach and the community at CFNV. “Dave and I are so thankful for North Vancouver Crossfit and what it has given us. We are blown away by the amazing people that fill the gym and truly look forward to each and every class. It is something we have been able to share together and see positive changes in one another physically and mentally. Our lifestyle has definitely become more active and our eating habits have improved.”
Since joining CFNV they have both seen improvements in their physical condition. Dave commented, “I feel way better about myself and being able to see measured improvements. Just overall happiness and feeling like every day I get in to CFNV I’m accomplishing something for myself. My golf game got a lot more consistent this year, which may have led to some of that happiness! Now I’m all in on trying to get better and push myself.”
Mobility is an area they would both like to continue to improve in and hope to see even more work there included in their classes.
Dave and Ashley both find plenty of inspiration in the CFNV community. Dave loves “seeing people do something they couldn’t do just a short time ago and watching some of those in the sport class train”, while Ashley adds, “it is so awesome to see people of all ages and abilities achieving new PR’s on a regular basis. I just love all of the coaches and can’t thank them enough for all their efforts.”
A couple that always shines! Dave and Ashley are an example of what we want for every couple who trains at CFNV. To feel confident, fit, and to play together. They are simple awesome and have seen so many improvements in the year or so they have been with us. Congrats guys!!
