I am super happy to bring back the “Athlete of the Month” status at the gym. I’m also super stoked with our choice this month! No better way to kick it off than someone who seems to hit PR’s every time they are at the gym, volunteers for countless hours at our Challenge, Smiles everyday, Makes people around them better, and most of all continues to push everyday while also listening to her Coaches by focussing on doing it right, then adding intensity. Simply put, you are awesome girl!

What do you love about CrossFit?
I love the sense of community that comes with being a member. There is always someone there to cheer you on, to give you a high 5, and to push you when you don’t think that you can go any further. I have seen my training translate into real life. I am stronger physically but more importantly, mentally!
Favourite Activities: (besides CrossFit)
Running, swimming and hiking are my other favourites. Baking is another delicious pastime 😉
Really anything that includes a Prowler Push!!
Wall balls. My mind gets the better of me sometimes (which usually ends up with me catching the ball with my face :P)
Random facts about you:
I have worked in Aquatics for 15 years. I am always up for a road trip. I’ve been attacked by a Police Dog during a takedown demonstration. I make really good gingersnap cookies! (YES SHE DOES)
What INSPIRES you?
I want to be healthy, fit and strong. I lead by example for my friends and family and have fun doing it. I also want to continue to put PRs up on the board.
